Makeup
I was hunting for a new foundation to try and I came across L'oreal's True Match Lumi foundation. I bought mine at Walmart for close to $11. There is quite a bit of product in the glass container. It is a pump and be careful, a lot does come out in one full pump. There is a wide variety in the color range and I don''t think anyone would have difficulty finding their right shade. Another great thing about this foundation is it does have sunscreen in it, (spf 20), which is great for the summer. This foundation is VERY dewy. I had researched this foundation before I bought it and everyone said this is NOT for oily skin. I really did not realize how dewy it was until I put it on my face! If you have dry skin or you like a dewy, natural finish, this foundation is your cup of tea! This foundation has little to medium coverage and will last almost all day but might need to be blotted a couple times during the day! I would say that I do like this foundation and there are many pros to it but let me repeat, this foundation is NOT for someone with oily skin!

Interior Decorating: Home Decor
Color Trouble!
Deciding what colors to choose for
your home can be quite difficult and frustrating. There are some tips and facts
that can help you magnificently throughout your home decor journey!
Colors inside the home often have the 60-30-10 rule; Sixty
percent of a room’s color is to a dominant hue, thirty percent is to a
secondary hue, and ten percent is an accent color. The dominant color, or the
sixty percent of the color, should be a neutral color: brown, gray, or black.
The secondary color, or the thirty percent of the color, should be still a
little neutral but can be a bit brighter. The accent color, or the ten percent
of the color, should provide bold pops of color that pull together the room. The
dominant color would be the wall paint and the secondary color would be more of
the furniture. The accent color would be used with the little accessories like
pillows, vases, and frames. Another way to understand the 60-30-10 is using a
suit for an example. The dominant color is the coat and pants, normally black.
The secondary color is the button-up shirt underneath, usually white. The
accent color is the tie, usually a pop of color. This rule is very helpful when
choosing colors for your home and can save a ton of headaches!
Another tip while using colors is the vertical gradient rule.
A room will look best when the color tones move from dark to light as you move
up vertically. Darker tones should be used for low pieces such as rugs and
coffee tables. Medium tones for the walls and the lightest tone for the
ceiling.
If you have trouble with deciding what colors you like or
want, try noticing the type of clothes you wear and take a look in your
wardrobe. The most color you have in your closet are the ones you should choose
while picking color schemes. Also, take note of nature. If you like an
arrangement of flowers, note the colors present and the proportions.
Getting inspiration for colors and ideas may seem hopeless
but it is actually everywhere you look! You just have to open your creative
eyes and search for it!
DIY
DIY Mosaic Lamp
You will need an empty, smooth surfaced lamp, your choice of glass or tile, glue, breakers, and grout.
You need to cut the glass pieces into small or large pieces depending on your personal preference. Next, you glue the pieces onto the lamp leaving a very small amount in between pieces. You need to let the pieces dry fully before grouting. Grouting is a long and not so fun process but it really pulls together the lamp! You can choose your own color of grout as well, there is dark grout, light grout, and so on. Once you have grouted you need to polish the pieces of glass until each piece is showing and shiny! Then let the grout dry and your lamp is ready for use!
